Welcome to the music of the late, great Gil Ray. Gil is best known as drummer for Game Theory, The Loud Family, Rain Parade & others but he was an endlessly creative soul who recorded solo as well. His first proper album "I Am Atomic Man" was released by 125 Records in 2006 but he had already privately issued an earlier cassette album back in 1994. Me and my friend used to go on drives all the time, and a lot of the time i asked what he was playing, and a majority of the songs were from Yo La Tengo. And since i went and listened to And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out i was fan. Never thought i’d buy one of their records for myself.
